Geek geek dating reviews
You could try it for a while & see but like on any dating site be careful. Thanks for the reviews advising that geek 2 geek is just another dating site with limited outcomes. The only site worse than that was (all I described, plus paying a month).
But I don't want to go among mad people, Alice remarked. Gender balance ratio is closer on paid sites and fake accounts added to lure in males may explain why paid sites seem more appealing than free dating sites. It had been sitting in someone's pasture for 5 years or so and the cylinders were frozen, the turbo blown, and the wiring harnesses rotted. Geek 2 Geek is still around, but last time I checked it, it looked like a shadow of its former self.
And then most of them, since they live in big(ger) cities, have a much larger pool of prospects local to them, so they're not interested in striking up a conversation with someone no distant, no matter how much we may seem to have in common. Oh goodness - it's terrible that someone would let such a thing rot in a pasture, but totally awesome that you saved it from said fate. Used to live a stone's throw away from you though, up in Wyoming.
Of course I am not looking for dates or anything specific or real so that probably helps. But I also came across this 50 yr old woman who looks younger than me and sounds so awesome I sort of want to marry her. You said in another thread that you discovered that you weren't really ready to date so why not just look for friendly humans to connect with for now? FAVE BOOK: Too Loud, Too Bright, Too Fast, Too Tight: What to Do If You Are Sensory Defensive in an Overstimulating World Hell what do you need a site like that for?
I tried Geek2Geek a few years ago & didn't have any luck but I didn't on any dating site thou.
Like most dating sites g2g had a major surplus of men to women so you may have much better luck than me & lots of guys there do. You must be, said the Cat, or you wouldn't have come here. I had a lot of crap like one-line replies ("yea, me to" [sic]) to a well-written paragraph, nonsense replies, correspondences that went nowhere, phone number given but never picks up, and last-minute date cancellations. I began to wonder whether "mean girls" types join that site strictly to mess with geeky guys they despise.
I was reading this blog of a serial single some time ago and one of the writers main points was that after a while it was pretty pointless.
Lets face it: We all know the free dating sites and whatnot so you are high likely to find a replica of the same profiles you didnt like in POF, okcupid...
*Le sigh* POF (at least in my area) is almost nothing but rednecks.
